My MFA work has the title Belonging(s) a piece consisting of two jacquard woven pieces that together forms a collage depicting a pile of textiles and clothes that explores the subjects of belonging, heritage, and identity. The different steps from preparing the loom to the actual weaving in itself serves as rituals in a process of rebuilding and connecting the past to the present and from one social culture to another.
