A horse is wandering alone in the forest while two sisters make a pilgrimage with an urn. ”Forest” is a living landscape of humans, objects and animals that are entangled in each other’s stories. The viewer is invited beyond the human gaze, without straying away from ongoing threats to our environment.
Sive Hamilton Helle (b. 1989 Oslo) is a Filmmaker based in Gothenburg and Oslo. Her short film “Forest” premiered at Gothenburg Film Festival and was awarded at Sweden’s Short Film Festival. Through imaginaries, her work aims to inspire curiosity for the more-than-human world.
