ZOOMANIA is a personal meditation on The Zoo as an emblem of human domination over other animals and the colonialist gaze that we employ when engaging with the natural world.
Tuva Björk (b.1994) is a documentary filmmaker based in Scandinavia, currently doing a MFA in Film at Valand Academy, Sweden. Her work often deals with the conventions that exist around the representation of nature in today’s media coverage.
